INTRODUCTION
Commonly know as tea, leaves from the Camellia sinensis plant have been a part of the world's culture for centuries. Most commonly associated with the orient as well as English tea times, this beverage has spread throughout the world in various different forms. Green, Oolong and Black teas are the most common, and strictly speaking are the only true members of the family. The differences between the types of tea are not the leaves, but the levels of fermentation they have gone through; green tea producers avoiding fermentation, while black teas are fully fermented, and Oolong, a carefully measured balance between the two.
Though traditionally limited to the above types of tea, the increase of globalization has helped the name, Tea spread to other plants such as Lemongrass and Bael Fruit. The latter teas are often considered to be Herbal Blends.
Generally speaking, all of these teas, Standard and Herbal Blends can offer a wide variety of physical, mental, and emotional health benefits. At Sabaidi Tea Co., Ltd. we hope to increase the availability and ease of Herbal Teas, many of which are unique to Thailand, while at the same time maintaining a maximized level of nutrition.
